Over many years, I have taught children to memorise verses from the Bible like Genesis 1 and Isaiah 40:31. In the mix, I also have them learn the shortest verse in the Bible. It doesn’t take long before even the young 4-5 year olds are correctly answering my question: ‘Shortest verse?’
